- Business name, address, and contact information
- Name and email address of your designated Qualified Individual
- Information about your business systems, software, and security practices submitted through our intake questionnaire
- Payment information processed securely through Stripe (we do not store card numbers)
- Email address for document delivery
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and deliver your custom Written Information Security Plan (WISP)
- Process your payment through Stripe
- Send you your completed documents and Loom video walkthrough
- Send compliance updates and renewal reminders if you are on our annual support plan
- Respond to your questions and provide customer support
How We Protect Your Information
We take the security of your information seriously. All intake form submissions are transmitted securely via encrypted connections. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We do not store your credit card information.
The business information you provide in your intake questionnaire is used solely to create your WISP and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Information Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- With service providers who assist us in operating our business (such as Stripe for payment processing and Formspree for form submissions) — these providers are contractually obligated to protect your information
- When required by law or to comply with legal process
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of SafeguardsReady or others
Data Retention
We retain your intake questionnaire responses and completed WISP documents for a period of 3 years to allow us to provide annual update services. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at hello@safeguardsready.co.
Cookies
Our website uses minimal cookies necessary for basic site functionality. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. We do not sell your browsing data.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you

Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for business use only and are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

Refund Policy
This Refund Policy is incorporated into and governed by our Terms of Service.
SafeguardsReady provides custom compliance documentation services. Because each Written Information Security Plan (WISP) is personally researched, written, and delivered based on your specific business information, our refund policy reflects the custom nature of our work.
Due to the custom nature of each WISP, refunds are not available once document preparation has begun or once your completed document has been delivered.
Before Delivery
A full refund is available only if requested before SafeguardsReady has initiated work on your project. Work is considered initiated immediately upon your submission of any required onboarding data, intake forms, or project materials. If no intake form has been submitted, work is considered initiated 48 hours after the time of payment. To request a refund before work has initiated, email hello@safeguardsready.co.
After Delivery
Once your custom WISP has been delivered to your specified email address, all sales are final. No refunds, partial refunds, or credits will be issued after final customized documents have been delivered. This policy exists because:
- Each WISP is custom-built specifically for your business
- Significant time and expertise is invested in creating your document
- The completed document cannot be "returned" once received
Delivery Guarantee
If SafeguardsReady fails to deliver the purchased services within the agreed-upon timeframe due solely to our own material error, a full refund of the purchase price will be issued as your sole and exclusive remedy.
Annual Support Plan
For clients on the WISP + Annual Support plan ($694), you may cancel at any time by emailing hello@safeguardsready.co. To avoid the next annual charge, your cancellation request must be submitted at least forty-eight (48) hours before your renewal date. No refunds are issued for renewal fees already processed.
Chargebacks
We take chargebacks seriously. If a chargeback is filed after a WISP has been delivered, we will provide evidence of delivery and service fulfillment to Stripe. We encourage you to contact us directly at hello@safeguardsready.co before initiating a chargeback so we can resolve any issues promptly.
